NOAH'S

Your hosts Christer and Rhonda fell in love with the township of Stanley while holidaying in Tasmania in 2008.  Luckily they both felt the same way!

 

Spontaneously purchasing a run-down vacant house close to the water’s edge during that holiday, they’ve had close connections with the township for over 18 years now.

 

Following 3 years of major renovations, Christer and Rhonda developed a successful Guest House business at that property, which is operated successfully for 15 years and is now under new ownership.

 

With the quiet life calling it was a natural progression to look to trade Melbourne for a permanent residence in Stanley.  After purchasing another vacant and run-down property, this time in the centre of town, a tree/sea change finally happened.

 

Recently “retired” after running their own successful business in Melbourne for 25 years, it was an easy decision to leave the rat-race and settle in Stanley.   This second property also underwent extensive renovations and in 2016 its doors were opened as luxury Guest House accommodation.

 

Christer and Rhonda are now warmly welcoming guests from around the world to their picturesque location and love sharing both Noah’s and their enthusiasm for the town.

THE GUEST HOUSE

Noah’s is located at 3 Victoria Street, Stanley in the north-west of Tasmania.

 

Set in a unique country beach town environment, it is in the town centre and 5 minutes’ walk to the fabulous eateries, walking tracks, and heritage and natural attractions.

 

We are proudly a Tasmanian family-owned and operated business.The property was recently extensively restored, renovated and enhanced. Keeping many of the original features and adding some modern creature comforts, we have created an outstanding home proudly offered for guest accommodation.

THE GUEST HOUSE

The Ark Stanley is situated at 18 Wharf Road, Stanley in the north-west of Tasmania, a restored period residence positioned directly opposite Tatlows Beach. The property is also located at the base of The Nut, the plug of an extinct volcano standing approximately 150 metres high.

The residence was acquired by Christer and Rhonda in 2008 and has been extensively restored, renovated and enhanced. With a tasteful eclectic décor and a renovation paying homage to yesteryear while planning for the future, an outstanding home has been created which your hosts proudly offer for guest accommodation.

This was our first time staying at a B&B. From the photos, we thought it had to be a hotel the features were so beautiful. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and the property well appointed. Cleanliness superb. We would definitely stay again and recommend this to others.

This was our first time staying at a B&B. From the photos, we thought it had to be a hotel the features were so beautiful. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and the property well appointed. Cleanliness superb. We would definitely stay again and recommend this to others. 

GREAT CHOICE

We were so glad that we chose to stay at Noah’s. Our room was warm, comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and our bathroom had wonderful luxurious features. Heated floor, double shower and warm towel rail. On arrival we were greeted warmly and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included home baked bread, homemade preserves. We would definitely consider returning here

We were so glad that we chose to stay at Noah’s. Our room was warm, comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and our bathroom had wonderful luxurious features. Heated floor, double shower and warm towel rail. On arrival we were greeted warmly and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included home baked bread, homemade preserves. We would definitely consider returning here

Arrived in Stanley on 14 Feb 2018 found this beautiful B&B Chris was a wonderful host room was superb they have done a beautiful job on the renovations couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the night breakfast was lovely especially Ronda's home-made yoghurt.

Arrived in Stanley on 14 Feb 2018 found this beautiful B&B Chris was a wonderful host room was superb they have done a beautiful job on the renovations couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the night breakfast was lovely especially Ronda's home-made yoghurt. 

5 STAR FACILITIES

We originally booked one night at Noah’s on our trip around Tassie but loved Stanley so much we stayed another. Our hosts Chris and Rhonda were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The room was beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was exceptional! Noah’s is close to everything in town, traffic was a little noisy at times but it certainly didn’t worry us too much. All in all a very comfortable room.
